Fundraising....
Throughout the year, we try to do as many fundraisers as possible to help students pay for costumes, trips, etc. Whatever the student sells/earns will go towards their costume, trip, etc. Whatever you want to put it towards is fine. Whatever you decide to use your fundraising money towards, it will need to be turned in before the due date.
(Example: If a student sells 10 candles ($10 each, with a profit of $4 per candle), and wants to put that money towards their trip balance (which is $60), they must turn in all candle orders/money by the due date and the students balance for the trip will be $20.

Policies
Razzles & Dazzles...
Students are divided up into two groups, the Razzles and the Dazzles. Razzles consists of students ages (8-12) and Dazzles are students ages (12-15). Younger students that have previous dance, acting, or vocal experience may be accepted to join the Dazzles as well as the Razzles. The instructor reserves the right to place students in either group that she deems suitable for the student, based on age and skill level. Each group will learn different group numbers but will also perform in numbers together.
Class Policies:
NO TOLERANCE:
If any student is causing problems, they will First, be sent home out of class with a warning. Second offense, they will be excluded from the next upcoming performance. Third offense, they will be dismissed from the Dreamcatchers for the rest of the semester. They will only be allowed to return the following semester on probation. If another offense occurs, the student will be dismissed permanently. I hate to sound like a tyrant, but I do not want my time nor the students time wasted on disruptive students. Also, not only will I
not allow disruptiveness, but I will not allow unexcused absences. I realize that everyone has other lives besides this troupe, but when you sign up to be a Dreamcatcher, you need to dedicate some time to it. It’s not fair to me or the other students if you are never in class or at a performance. A continuous or large amount of absences can lead to dismissal of the troupe. Please also note that I will not tolerate laziness either. If a student does not learn their lines, songs, or dances by the date expected, they can potentially have their part taken away due to lack of practice.
ABSENCE POLICY:
If a student needs to miss rehearsal or a performance, the instructor needs to know in advance. After 3 unexcused absences, students will not be allowed to participate in projects and potentially removed from the current show.
REFUND POLICY:
Once a trip or costume is paid for, no refunds can be given. Because I have to give vendors an exact number, I cannot afford to give refunds. If their policy is no refunds, mine has to be that way too or else CharACTers will lose money. CharACTers can not give tuition refunds.
DRESS CODE:
Dance shoes (or socks) must be worn to each class. Sectionals will be
available for each students to leave their dance shoes in the classroom. Appropriate clothing must be worn at all times, including performances when not in costume. During class, students must wear clothing that is suitable for dancing. No baggy pants, skirts, or dresses. During performances, when not wearing costumes, students will not be allowed to wear inappropriate clothing such as gang wear, graphic tees with violent content, slang, vulgarity, curse
words, etc. Students will be asked to change if the instructor deems clothing inappropriate.
CANCELLED/RESCHEDULED CLASSES OR PERFORMANCES:
